What about 100s tweed wool fabric?

In technical terms, "100s" (or "Super 100s") refers to the fineness of the wool fiber (the diameter measured in microns). While common in worsted suiting, "100s" is actually quite rare for traditional, rustic tweed. Authentic tweed usually utilizes thicker, coarser fibers. If you find a fabric marketed as "100s tweed," it is likely a modern, refined hybrid that offers the pattern of tweed with the softness of fine wool.

Why is fine wool not thick?

The "thickness" of wool is determined by the micron count and how the yarn is spun. Fine wool (like Super 100s or higher) has a lower diameter, which makes it feel lighter and softer. Thick wool usually comes from coarser, more robust sheep breeds. Fine wool isn't meant to be "thick" in the traditional sense; its luxury comes from its drape, lightweight warmth, and smooth hand-feel.

Is this premium quality?

Quality in tweed is defined by the source of the wool (e.g., British or Irish sheep), the tightness of the weave, and the complexity of the color patterns. A heavy, hand-loomed, or high-end mill-produced tweed is highly premium. "100s" wool is premium in terms of fineness, but for tweed, the "premium" label often shifts toward traditional authenticity and durability.

Fabrics are cut as per orders from Thans, so unless there is a defect / damages or if the item is different from what you had ordered - you can not exchange or return it.
We do not have a refund policy, incase of returns, the entire amount will given to you in the form of a discount coupen valid for 6 months.
You must contact us first and then returns.
All possibilities of returns / exchanges are possible for 3 days after the date of delivery of order to the customer.
